Our MBBR media is made of 100% virgin High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), free from any toxic substances. With a special UV-resistant and hydrophilic formula, its lifespan can easily exceed 10–15 years under normal wastewater treatment conditions.
We offer various models to meet different project needs, with effective specific surface areas ranging from 600 m²/m³ to over 1600 m²/m³. If you are unsure which model to choose, our engineers can recommend the most suitable specifications based on your water quality parameters such as BOD/COD loading.
Yes, it is very fast. The surface of our media is specially treated for roughness and hydrophilicity, which greatly promotes rapid adhesion and growth of microorganisms. Under suitable water temperature and aeration conditions, it typically takes only 5–15 days to complete biofilm formation and achieve stable treatment results.
We operate 15 fully automated MBBR production lines with a daily capacity of up to 500 cubic meters. For standard orders, shipment can usually be arranged within 7–10 working days. For large-scale projects or custom orders, please confirm the exact lead time with our sales team.
